New in-store this season are Biotime’s ladies boots from their 2014 fall and winter collection. These boots offer stylish, yet practical protection against frigid temperatures, snow, and ice. With a boot height of 9″ and a faux fur lining, your feet will stay cozy regardless of the external conditions. Each boot contains an inside zipper as well as a functional strap detail. The upper of the boot is made from premium nubuck. With a similar feel to suede, nubuck is a natural top-grain leather produced from the outer side of cattle hide. Unlike suede, which is created from the inner side of a hide, nubuck has more strength and thickness and is resistant to wear. To give it a velvet-like surface, the leather is sanded or buffed on the grain side to produce short fibres. (Wikimedia Foundation Inc. 2014)
